The daughter of Manuel Pardo, a corrupt former Sweetwater police officer and serial killer who was executed in 2012, when Monique was 32 years old. Miami New Times says investigators found that Pardo kept a swastika on the wall, owned over 500 books about Adolf Hitler, had a dog named Satan that he had tattooed with a swastika, and publicly stated his hatred of Jews and Blacks.

Almost 3 years later, Monique posted on Facebook, "You undoubtedly have remained by my side each step of the way — my hero, my guardian angel." In September 2017, she posted, "There’s no one better suited to have been my Daddy, and I will forever be proud to have been your little girl. I love you forever, papi. Happy Birthday. #MidnightTraintoGeorgia.” Midnight Train to Georgia was her father's dying words before execution.

One has to seriously question the values of someone who hero-worships a Nazi-loving, antisemitic, racist--even if he was her father.

Monique Pardo Pope is just not right to represent the 3rd largest Jewish community outside of Israel.
