When my two boys first walked through the doors of South Pointe Elementary, I knew one of the greatest gifts I could give them was to be actively involved in their education. As a proud graduate of Michigan State University’s James Madison Honors College, with a degree in Social Relations and Public Policy, I’ve seen firsthand the powerful role PTSA organizations play in shaping strong schools—and strong communities.

From South Pointe to Nautilus, and now at Beach High, my sons’ path through our schools has introduced me to hundreds of dedicated PTSA parents working every day to make a difference. I was proud to serve as PTSA President at Nautilus Middle School, where I saw firsthand the impact of engaged parents on student success.

Now I'm ready to serve as your Commissioner. With my professional background in public policy and years of collaboration with engaged parents and community members, I know we can work together to make Miami Beach an even more spectacular city for all of us.
