Hi, this is Monica Matteo-Salinas, candidate for Miami Beach Commission. On Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country.

I am especially grateful to the veterans in my own family - my grandfather, who proudly served with the Navy, my Uncle, who proudly served in Operation Desert Storm with the Army, and especially my father, a Vietnam War veteran who proudly served with the Army.

Their service has deeply shaped my appreciation for those who defend our country. And now I'm ready to serve my city as your next Miami Beach Commissioner. Please vote for me in the runoff election on December 9th.
